The global market price for Azerbaijan’s Azeri LT CIF crude oil has declined by $1.40, or approximately 2%, settling at $68.47 per barrel.
In comparison, Brent crude futures for August delivery were traded at $66.52 per barrel.
Meanwhile, the price of Azeri LT CIF oil on a Free on Board (FOB) basis at Türkiye’s Ceyhan port also saw a decrease, falling by $1.43, or 2.08%, to $67.13 per barrel.
For its 2025 state budget, Azerbaijan has set the average oil price at $70 per barrel.
Historically, the lowest recorded price for Azeri Light crude was $15.81 on April 21, 2020, while the highest peak reached $149.66 in July 2008.
