The price of Azerbaijani oil, specifically the Azeri Light (CIF) grade, continues its upward momentum in international markets.
On Friday, the price per barrel increased by $1.28, or 1.77%, closing at $73.45. This marks the first time since April that Azeri Light crude has traded above the $73 threshold.
Earlier, the price stood at $72.17 per barrel.
Additionally, this week is notable as the first period since April 4 during which Azerbaijani oil prices have consistently remained above the $70 mark, a key benchmark used in the government’s projections for the 2025 state budget.
